Bluey Woody composes instrumental tracks with various influences depending on the albums, maybe with a jazzy touch in common. Actually he doesn't restrict himself to a single style. On MySurround.com are his three albums:
- "Smiles in the lounge" (2009) which is lounge-style music,
- "Bluey Woody & The Rusted Bits" (2010) which is almost pure-blues
- "Hope...maybe" (2011) which is back to jazz, more precisely smooth jazz and old jazz
Online this month is a new album from Bluey Woody. This album is somehow back to the roots of his first album "Smiles In The Lounge", which was also fully produced in surround sound, and already available on MySurround.
The music is instrumental smooth jazz. The tracks range from slow (e.g. Summertime, Sweety, Illusion), to mid-tempo (Next Day, Venice Beach, Children, Springtime) and swingy (Sabrina).
The production in true surround sound (see files in dbr.ac3, dbr.wma, dbr.wav formats) is the reason why the listener gets this fantastic feeling of sitting in a jazz club and listening right in front of the band.
This album is the first of a double album of which the second half is not ready yet but it will most probably in the coming months.
